http://69mach1.com<br />69mach1.com home of the 69 Ford Mustang Mach1<br />In 1969 Ford Motor Company came out with one of their better ideas.<br />In the beginning the Mach1 started as a 68 fastback that had been modified as a concept model.<br />In 1969 Ford went away from the Fastback term to calling them Sport Roofs. The 1969 Mach1 had a blacked out hood treatment with hood pins and special decals.<br />The interior had a Rimblow steering wheel, teak wood grain details and high-back sport bucket seats.<br />Under the hood was a variety of motors plus the option of a “Shaker Hood” an air scoop mounted directly to the top of the motor, used to collect fresh air and so named for its tendency to "shake" above the rumbling V-8 below.<br />Other options included chrome gas cap, wheels, chrome exhaust tips, chin spoiler rear deck spoiler and rear window slats.<br />Send me a picture and description of your car to be posted on the site.<br />On a side note is this the Mach1 of the future.
