Bihar Flood
Bihar, the poorest state of India. These children’s homes are gone. <br />Washed away by one of India’s worst floods ever. <br />After exceptionally heavy monsoon rains, the water broke the dams of the Kosi river. <br />Over 3 Million people were affected, and thousands lost their lives. Those that survived, lost everything else— land, home, family. <br />Then they were hit hard by famine and disease; <br />The situation was catastrophic, help was needed urgently.
