Christopher Cariad - Hell's Feast
This Hell that I'm falling in, is ever so changing. <br />From a little spark in the darkness to the flames a raging. <br />The fire ever so high, I'm sinking fast in this darkness. <br />I look up to the sky and see the face of saving. <br />Quickly my head turns away, not wanting him to see me. <br />Asking for forgiveness, as the light comes closer. <br />The darkness fleeing from his tears, <br />I started to praise God for the life he gave and for this eternal soul. <br />His presence turning away, I cried out for his forgiveness <br />Laying there to cry as the darkness overwhelmed me, <br />The home I wished for is now gone and forever <br />I'll be crying in this fiery hole <br />Where I lay and wait for someone to save my soul.\n\nChristopher Cariad<br /><br />https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hell-s-feast/
