Dad from hell
Tom Hughes‘ dad Simon lost a lot of credit with me in last week’s episode of The Family. I usually have a lot of issues with other people’s dads because, quite frankly, most of them suck, but I kinda liked Simon in the first couple of epiosdes because he didn’t seem to suck as much as other dads. But then I knew something was wrong with him when I saw him reading the bible before getting out of bed. <br /><br />Anyway, treating your kid like that in front of one of his friends is about as low as you can get as a parent. I’ve been through it as a kid, as both the son and the friend, and trust me, it’s freakishly embarrassing on both sides. Some people should have a dog instead of kids !
