Just catch ...... and release!!!

When possible, we establish a good, clear and safe "home" position close by, and then simply move the Phantom to the location we are going to fly in. If this isn't possible, we set the best or softest home position we can access safely, at the time!

The Phantom has plenty of standby power to move it around & so there's no rush to get it in the air, but we look at this in more detail in a later video.

Even on the windiest of days, it makes a tricky job much easier!

Is it dangerous? Well I guess most things are dangerous if you don't take care,
but given you have the control, you make that call...

Propellor guards, safety glasses and gloves are a good idea as well!

When moving the phantom anywhere, the controller cannot be turned off, or moved away from the Phantom, otherwise she'll go into failsafe and fly home! (Wherever she is!) And I mean WHEREVER!

And I'll give you the big tip....there's nothing like a POSSESED phantom trying to cut loose in the back of a car....

Shortly, we will be doing a segment showing how we tackle open sea boating with the Phantom which looks at fail safe landings in open waters.

DJI Phantom - Catch and release
DJI Phantom - Difficult landings
DJI Phantom - Landing in the wind
DJI Phantom - The ultimate tutorial
DJI Phantom - Tricks and tips
DJI Phantom - Return to home function explained
DJI Phantom - Fail safe explained
DJI Phantom - How not to crash in fail safe
DJI Phantom - Using the return to home function
DJI Phantom - Expert and professional tips
DJI Phantom - Beginner tips
DJI Phantom - Lost sight, what now?
DJI Phantom - Set up and fly home
DJI Phantom - Quadcopter fail safe
DJI Phantom, Phantom 2, Phantom Vision

Filmed on a GoPro and Panasonic Lumix Camera
Music by Premium Beat

Check out http://www.flightofthephantom.com for our list of upcoming tips
