DoorDash has recently revealed the initiation of a drone delivery pilot program, teaming up with Alphabet’s Wing.<br /><br />The testing phase has kicked off in Christiansburg, VA, a town with approximately 22,000 residents, focusing solely on “eligible items” from the fast-food giant Wendy’s. However, it remains uncertain whether this includes the beloved Frosty dessert or the popular fry condiment.<br /><br />Only one Wendy’s location is involved, but local customers will find a “deliver by drone” option on the DoorDash checkout page.
