HMS Illustrious
Operations aboad the Royal nay aircraft carrier HMS Illustrious. Built by Vickers-Armstrong and launched in 1939, she displaces 23,000 tonnes and had the capability to carry up to 36 aircraft. Nicknamed "Lusty" by the men who served on her.
