Lisa del Giocondo <br /><br />The insatiable Giocondo(.1503 - 1506).. the mother of the lost son, the mysterious woman with two different faces, the surrealist inversed landscape, and the eyes without lashes and eyebrows, <br /><br />I paint this woman, maybe lady Giocondo, or lady Gherardini, or anyone else, maybe Leonardo himself as he was young... <br /><br />Her life was tough, in this canvas, she wear a black jacket, italian's women's tradition who will have or have already a baby. But where is he? No painting, I draw him, kind of transparent life. <br /><br />The landscape with a default horizon, in fact, if you inverse the two side left/right from each side of The Giocondo, you find at last the REAL horizon line ( discovered by 2 canadians searchers), and a strange landscape will appear to you. <br /><br />Moreover, the half-sphere at the bottom of each column (normaly hidden by the frame, in le Louvres will appear as a sphere in the middle, and one column will exist. <br /><br /> I decided to paint the entire body to give her, more than a simple bust, give her a personal life with her destinity and her past. <br /><br />, I have demultiplied by 2 the great landscape. There are so many connection with the 2: <br />The floor, with 2 forms, as painted by Aimée Brune in 1845 in her canvas : "leonardo painting the Giocondo" <br /><br />The symetrie is perfect with the joconde in the middle, <br />we can see only 2 bars on the chair, <br />the 2 columns... sometimes appears (for exemple in 1504 from a scheme from Raphael Sanzio) or really discret as from the different version of L. Da Vinci. <br />2 different faces (man/woman ; mother/daughter ...) <br /><br />I hope you will like this painting, and
