ROLLIN' UNDERGROUND
ROLLIN' UNDERGROUND is a feature length documentary following the stories of a group of young skateboarders in London, featuring the legendary skateboard champion Tony Hawk and looking at skateboarding as a viable alternative to guns, street crime and boredom.<br /><br />ROLLIN’ UNDERGROUND is a film about Skateboarding, hard work and perseverance. The film tells the story of a group of young people who regularly meet at skate-parks in London. It touches on themes such as bulling at school, social barriers and prejudice, skateboarding as a sport, the battle to keep skateparks such as the Southbank open, the attempts to get skateboarding as one of the list of Olympic sports. <br />It also investigates, through the testimonies of the teen agers who practice it, wether skateboarding could offer a viable alternative to guns, knives, street crime in general and boredom.
