With A2A Simulations' Piper-J3, you can skim water with the tundra tires. This is actually part of a real world technique for shortening your landing roll when landing on a smooth shoreline. "Land" just a bit short so that your tires skim the water, slowing you down considerably just before you reach dry land itself.
