When It Rains
Sometimes I find rain so romantic. No one else is out. I feel the drops pelting me, sliding down my face, making my glasses hard to see through, and if I'm in the woods, or out in stark country, I feel ancient and solid as a spirit passing through the earth. <br /> <br />I love falling asleep to the sound of raindrops on the roof. I like the sound of water sluicing down the windshield or the street, or the raging torrent of the river under the bridge. <br /> <br />I can go out in the rain, or I can stay in. Either is ok, depending on my mood and health. Sometimes rain fits my mood perfectly.
