It was the most expensive franchise to join the Indian Premier League (IPL) bandwagon in 2010 but trouble times with the BCCI has seen the demise of Pune Warriors team. An unsettled dispute with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over annual franchise fee resulted in Sahara India Group's decision to end its association with the IPL.
