(SOUNDBITE) (English) RICHMOND, VIRGINIA RESIDENT TIM RICE SAYING:

"Royal Caribbean, the crew was great but it was definitely what they said a nightmare at sea because when you are pulled out of bed at 2:50 in the morning, thinking it's not a drill but it really is, you open the door and you smell smoke down the hall. So then you stand on deck for three hours and the line you up in groups of five and then then lower the life boat and you're thinking Titanic all the way."

The fire was extinguished in about two hours and only minor medical incidents were reported.

The cruise was enroute to CoCoCay Bahamas.
