This was recorded in Chicago June 27th 1957 at the only session that legendary jazz trumpeter Fester Jones shared with blues and jazz clarinetist Bugg Ryley.

No confirmed information is available of this recording session which appears to have been an impromptu event.

Buggs one time backing band The Bugg Boys may have been featured here but it may also have been session players.
The string section which is unusual for this type of occasion is also shrouded in mystery.
