On my way to work this morning, I was thinking about when people say "ask anyone, they'll agree with me". And it posed the thought, no they wouldn't. Sure, maybe some would, but not EVERYONE would. My thought process continued, and it took me back to a conversation I was having with someone the other day, and they made a point, then said "everyone agrees with me" - and I though to myself, how the fuck do you even know that. Did you go out and ask EVERYONE if they agreed with you? fuck no you didn't. Even if you took a case study, and the "majority" of the people agree with you, how real is this case study. You see pantene hair shampoo adverts, and they say like 93% of women tested agree. Well who gives a shit. You tested 20 women. And what if you tested 20 monday, 20 tuesday, 20 wednesday, 20 thursday and 20 friday, and mon - thurs only 15% of the women tested loved the product, but on friday you got lucky and 93% loved it. Now you're telling the public that based on 20 nimwits liking a hair product that's probably shit, that "you're worth it". So ultimately, as good or bad as your product is, you don't give a shit about the consumer, and only care about the money. Fuck you. Consumer rights mother fucker. I'm going back to head and shoulders.
