Men working as train drivers and conductors for the Arriva train company in northern Stockholm, Sweden wore skirts as part of their uniform.

If it's hot outside, men don't have many clothing options to escape the heat in work settings.

Men working as train drivers and conductors for the Arriva train company in northern Stockholm, Sweden started wearing skirts as part of their uniform.
As a protest against the company’s dress code that doesn’t allow men to wear shorts, more than a dozen male employees decided to wear skirts in the summer.

The temperatures on the train can reach over a hundred degrees in the summer, and the only way for the men to get comfortable was to get creative.

One of the men said that they have gotten a positive response from customers riding the train.

The company hasn’t tried to stop the men from wearing skirts.

However, in a recent update, Arriva has lifted the ban on shorts for the train drivers so we can expect them to go back to wearing shorts.

What do you think? What sorts of dress code guidelines should be put in place by Arriva?
