Skoda's Octavia station wagon dominated the European market for the compact class in 2012. Even if it's noticeably longer than its predecessor, it is still some 102 kilograms lighter. The smallest 63 kw 1.2 l TSI gasoline-powered version is selling with the starting price of just 16,640 euros in Germany.
