STORY: A group of mothers formed a human-chain as they walked through Istanbul's Taksim square on Thursday to protect their own children demonstrating in Gezi Park.
Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan issued a final warning to protesters occupying the park, saying his patience had run out and he called on protesters' parents to take their children in hand.
The mothers that Reuters spoke to said they had gathered in Taksim square to protect their children.
Erdogan is set to meet with members of a group opposed to the redevelopment of the Istanbul park in a bid to end two weeks of anti-government protests.
