Tightened security across Northern Ireland for this year's G8 summit is costing the UK $75m and angering many locals.

As world leaders arrive, shops that have been forced to close by the recession in the small town of Enniskillen have been spruced up to make it look as if they are thriving.

The extra police presence and the costs of painting and tarmacking the town have annoyed people at a time of austerity cuts.

Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from Enniskillen.
