Ok, it wasn’t quite like that. They adorned a cup with little blue baby hands and feet and posted a sign requesting the customers take a moment and drop a note with their preference of the two.
Both of the indecisive parents frequent the coffee shop. They’re on a first name basis with the baristas and much of the clientele so they figured, why not?
The responses were mostly genuine. They did get a ‘neither’ or two and several people went with the write-in option. Off-ballot votes included Chaz, Webster, Jebediah and Lincoln.
By the end the couple estimated that they received over 1800 legit responses to the query.
They said it wasn’t a close race, with Logan winning by nearly 500 votes. The couple plans to use Jackson as the middle name.
Interestingly, both names were rarely used until 1990’s at which time they skyrocketed to popularity. Today, they’re among the more popularly given monikers.
