Tourists hoping to get a bird's eye view of New York City had a momentary scare after their helicopter was forced to make an emergency
landing on the Hudson River.
The Swedish family of four and their pilot are all safe say Federal Aviation officials. The pilot told local media he began losing engine power and was decided to land on the aircraft's pontoons.
Earlier, a Coast Guard ship could be seen towing the aircraft to the dock. News of the Hudson River landing reminded many of the full US Airways flight that touched down on its belly on the water.
