Six Flags Magic Mountain has unveiled their newest roller coaster called Full Throttle.
Said to be world’s tallest looping ride, it just recently opened.
It can reach speeds up to 70 miles per hour and at some points, it goes up as high as 160 feet. A magnetic launch system is behind its speed.
There are three launches in total. Two catapult riders forward while the third launches backwards through an underground tunnel.
After reaching the top of the 160-foot loop, the ride swerves and then descends, however as an added touch, instead of stopping, the roller coaster takes riders on the track backwards.
Shoulder restraints are usually the one thing making roller coaster passengers feel secure and safe. However, Full Throttle doesn’t have any. The only thing keeping riders in their seats is an over-the-lap bar.
Although the attraction is reportedly terrifying, the whole ride only lasts 60 seconds from start to finish.
How do you like it?
