At least two dead and dozens injured in San Francisco plane crash

At least two people were killed and as many as 73 injured when an Asiana Airlines plane crash landed at San Francisco International Airport, a city fire department dispatcher said.

The plane was a Boeing 777 with more than 300 people on board.

An official at the airlines head office in Seoul said the plane was carrying 141 Chinese, 77 South Koreans and 61 U.S. citizens. The official could not immediately confirm the nationalities of the remaining passengers.

The cause of the crash in still unknown, but

Deborah Hersman, who heads the National Transportation Safety Board says investigations are under way.

"Everything is on the table at this point. We have to gather the facts, before we reach any conclusions."

Ten critically injured people were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, including two children.
