Superstar Shah Rukh Khan made his Bollywood debut with film 'Deewana' (1992) opposite Divya Bharti, and now the producer of the film Guddu Dhanoa is all set to make the sequel of it.
Filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa is gearing up to take the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Deewana ahead. The 1992 super-hit romantic film was directed by Raj Kanwar, and starred Rishi Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and the late Divya Bharti in lead roles.Dhanao confirmed the news by saying, "We are making a romantic film but it is a completely different story. We are using the title Deewana but something would be added to the title. It is like how Bhatt's are making films like Murder, Jannat, I am also doing something similar."

Dhanoa revealed that the script is ready and they are in search for a suitable star cast to feature in the film. Without divulging any names, he said, "We are in talks with actors but nothing is finalised yet."
Well, if SRK would be seen in the sequel of his debut film, particularly in any form, then it would be quite nostalgic for the superstar and even to the makers.
