The victim's sister posted details from the tragic incident on a Chinese social media website. She noted “I hope that Apple can give us an explanation. I also hope that all of you will refrain from using your mobile devices while charging.”
The deceased woman worked as a flight attendant at China Southern Airlines. According to her father, the body showed signs of electrocution.
Many iPhone users across the globe are left confused and worried, as the online post from the victim’s sibling has gone viral. Meanwhile the family is waiting for a response from iPhone manufacturer, Apple.
Authorities at the company have expressed their condolences and claimed to have opened up an investigation into the case.
