Abhinav Kashyap, who had helmed Salman Khan in Dabangg, was not part of the sequel project Dabangg 2 and at the time, there had been reports that Khan and Kashyap had a fall-out, leading to the latter's ouster.
However, at the trailer launch of Kashyap's upcoming film Besharam, the director said, "I never had any issues with Salman and I would like to work with him again if there is a good enough script. As far as Dabangg 2 is concerned, I was not part of the project as I did not want to make the film and wanted to try something different, which I have done with Besharam. It is quite funny that reports about our alleged fall-out still exist despite the fact that I keep refuting such rumours."
Besharam stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in lead roles and whereas Ranbir plays a charming car thief, Rishi and Neetu play the role of Haryanvi cops on his trail. The film also stars Pallavi Sharda as the female lead and this fun-filled film is slated to release on October 2.
