Friday has been declared a day of mourning for the victims of the deadly car bombing which struck southern Beirut on Thursday.

The blast killed around 22 and wounded more than 200 people. Fires raged for an hour after the explosion leaving behind a charred landscape in the stronghold of Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
