A German tourist has died in a crash between a gondola and ferry on Venice's Grand Canal.
Joachim Reinhard Vogel, 50, was a university professor from Munich.
Vogel's three-year-old daughter was seriously hurt in the accident and is being treated for a head injury at a hospital in Padua.
