The Opening Ceremony of the 14th annual Scotiabank BuskerFest took place on Thursday, August 22. The festival is being held in a new location in the Downtown Yonge Neighbourhood. Scotiabank BuskerFest is the largest and most vibrant street performer festival in North America, attracting local and international talent. Guests of the festival welcomed by Fire Guy, host and master ceremony, Daryl Yeo, President, Epilepsy Toronto Board of Directors, John Doig, Scotiabank Senior Vice President, Toronto Region, Kristyn Wong-Tam, Toronto Centre Councillor, and ground performers Catwall Acrobats, Sauruses, Charlie Caper, Lisa Lottie, Silver Elvis, The Giant Seagulls, Krazy K and others.
