The GTB Nagar Metro Station is underground metro station located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar (Kingsway Camp).
The Yellow Line is one of the lines of the Delhi Metro, a rapid transit system in Delhi, India. It consists of 34 metro stations from Jahangirpuri in Delhi to HUDA City Centre in the neighbouring city of Gurgaon. The line with a length of 45 kilometers (28 mi) is mostly underground and has been laid under one of the most congested parts of Delhi. The 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) underground stretch from Vishwa Vidyalaya — Kashmere Gate, the first section of the line was inaugurated on December 20, 2004. It is the 2nd longest metro line on the Delhi Metro network.
The Yellow line has interchanges with the Red, Blue and Violet lines of the Delhi Metro, as well as with the Old Delhi and New Delhi railway stations of the Indian Railways. The Line also connects with the Airport Express Line at New Delhi station. Chawri Bazar is the deepest station of the Delhi Metro network and is situated about 30 metres (98 ft) below ground level and has 18 escalators, the most in any Delhi Metro station. It is located close to the monuments of Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
