Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona), Sep 12 (EFE).- Brazilian defender Adriano Correia confessed at a press conference that it was impossible for Barcelona to turn their back on their defining style that had given the team so many titles in the past adding the manager Gerardo Martino was trying to apply a more direct way of playing but did not intend to change anything.
These comments were made in response to Pique, who claimed that, at times, Barça had been a "slave" to ball possession.
He went on to admit that the team had been very tired last year and that Martino was looking to revive the spark and freshness.
The defender also spoke about Messi and Neymar, claiming that they seemed to be in good shape to him and that he was sure that they would be 100 percent in the upcoming match.
