Police in the Greek capital Athens have arrested the leader and other top figures of far-right political group Golden Dawn on Saturday on charges of founding a criminal organization.
The Golden Dawn party boasts a swastika-like symbol, and leader Nikolaos Mihaloliakos has denied the Holocaust. They currently hold 18 seats in parliament.
One of the party members arrested was charged with being an accomplice in the recent stabbing death of an anti-fascist rapper.
The killing sparked massive and sometimes violent protests against the party although Golden Dawn has denied any links to the murder.
In Athens Saturday, residents reacted to the news of Mikaloliakos's arrest.
Whoever is responsible for murder should be going to jail, this man said.
Mihaloliakos has threatened to pull it's lawmakers from parliament if the alleged crackdown does not stop.
