At least four people have been killed and several others wounded in a suicide car bomb attack in Mali on Saturday.

It is the first assault since the election of new president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita in August.

He has promised to make security a top priority as the country battles militant Tuareg rebels in the north of the country.
