66-year-old O.J. Simpson, who is currently serving a 33-year prison sentence for robbery, was reportedly busted for stealing from the jailhouse cookie jar.
O.J. Simpson doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to doing the right thing. The newest, albeit, petty controversy surrounding the former football player involves stolen cookies.
66-year-old Simpson, who is currently serving a 33-year prison sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping,, was reportedly busted for stealing from the jailhouse cookie jar. Guards at the Nevada prison noticed it looked as though inmate number 32, a.k.a Simpson, had something stashed under his clothing as he was walking back to his cell.
Workers at the secured facility searched him. An anonymous source stated “O.J. just stood there with a goofy grin on his face as the guard kept digging inside his shirt and throwing the cookies on the floor.”
Simpson received a warning for the cookie theft but no strict disciplinary action was taken. However, he was reportedly ridiculed by fellow inmates.
He may also get a reprimand from his doctor, as Simpson reportedly has severe diabetes and was previously told to go on a strict diet and exercise, or he could die.
He apparently also suffers from high blood pressure.
