Madrid, Feb 18 (EFE).- "Blancanieves", was the big winner at Spain's Goya film awards at the weekend. Pablo Berger's black and white silent movie with an underlying fairy-tale theme centering on a snowy white female bullfighter took ten awards, including best film and best original screenplay.
Juan Antonio Bayona won a Goya for best director for his dramatic tsunami film "The Impossible". Bayona handed over the prize to the real-life survivors of this incredible story. The film won a total of five awards.
