Tokyo, Aug 29 (EFE).- In Japan fruit has other shapes, other uses...and other prices. Fruit in Japan is a luxury item, often sold in boutiques as if it were exquisite jewelry.

In gourmet shops like Sun Fruits in Tokyo, a cluster of reddish Ruby Roman grapes costs 210 euros, about 260 dollars. A square watermelon costs 160 euros. A single saturn peach costs 15 dollars and change.
