In 2007, Ranbir Kapoor's Saawariya and Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om clashed at the box office, as both films released on the Diwali weekend. Six years later, history seems set to repeat itself.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh and Ranbir's upcoming films — Happy New Year and Jagga Jasoos — may clash at the box office again on the same festive weekend in 2014. While Happy New Year is directed by Farah Khan, Jagga Jasoos would be directed by Anurag Basu.
Farah's next is expected to be ready around the same time next year, whereas Anurag's film would also be ready for release around same time. However, both the directors are saying the final call is yet to be taken.
