End of October during a jump base jump near Moab, Utah (United States), Ammon McNeely had a problem parachute and crashed against the wall. Result of the operation, an open leg fracture. He managed to make a tourniquet, but lost anyway 1.4 liter of blood (3 pints). He explained that he was not far from losing life when the helicopter came to rescue him.
