Minneapolis voters will pick a new mayor on Tuesday, Nov. 5, although the winner, in a Ranked Choice Voting field of 35 candidates, is not expected to be determined until Wednesday. Earlier, The UpTake invited seven of the leading candidates to take part in a debate that was held on Oct. 23. In addition, we asked them to sit down for an informal conversation in order that voters might see them, up close and personal. Six agreed to do so (Candidate Don Samuels did not participate).
