ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION

At the Los Angeles leg of the worldwide fan event for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" on Monday (November 4), Evangeline Lilly joked that she would 'take it up' with director Peter Jackson that she couldn't perform as many of her own stunts as her co-star Orlando Bloom.

Lilly also talked about her role as elf Tauriel, a character that doesn't appear in the original book by J.R.R. Tolkien.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is set to hit theaters on December 13.
