The interactive accompaniment to the television series of the same name, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is a 3D platformer. Pac-World is under attack, and as you’d expect given its name, its fate is in the hands of Pac-Man. The spherical gaming icon steps out of the maze and into a 3D world with Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. The game shares much in common with the popular 3D platformers of the late 1990s and early 2000s, featuring simple action and an emphasis on collecting things. The simple design shows it’s clearly designed for young players, but its platforming packs a challenge that might surprise you. Pac-Man can scare ghosts for easier munching, and he can also power-up for special attacks, including fire and ice suits. Pac-Man takes cues from Mario, one legend to another, in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. This is a single-player game released for several platforms. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
