French police have released images of the suspect they believe was responsible for two shootings in the city on November 18.
A lone gunman attacked the offices of newspaper Liberation, causing series injury to one person – then opened fire outside the headquarters of bank Société Générale, where no-one was wounded.
Police director Christian Flaesch told reporters in Paris: “The man hasn’t been identified. The investigation continues and we’re hearing from a number of witnesses.”
The suspect was described as European-looking and aged 35-45.
Police said they believed the suspect was the same armed man broke into the Paris offices of television channel BFM on November 15 and made threats to employees.
