Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Disabled, elderly and live on a fixed income. No longer can afford CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS? - NEW YORK STATE:
I live on a fixed income a month, I am 63 years old and disabled. I have been current with my credit cards bills up to now (that is because my kids have been helping me with bills) I can no longer afford to make the min. payments neither afford a bankruptcy lawyer or consider a settlement deal. Should I notify my credit card company's of my situation and wait the the collection calls? Is there a special case that my situations fall under to cancel debt? And can collection agencies granish my fixed income. (which is directly depostited into my checking account monthy) this is my only income.
What can or can I not do. Are there any programs or numbers I can call to notify nonpayment. -
