An armed group calling itself Ansar Beir El Maqdis, or the Supporters of Jerusalem says it killed eleven Egyptian soldiers in Sinai last month. The group has also claimed responsibility for a series of attacks throughout the country. It's a campaign that has gained momentum since the ousting of President Mohammed Morsi in July.
