In Bangladesh, getting a university degree does not guarantee getting a job, according to the findings of an employment trends survey conducted by the International Labour Organisation.

More and more Bangladeshi parents are sending their children to school, believing an education will help their children secure brighter futures.

But data has shown that studying will not necessarily help students land better jobs and could even harm their chances of finding employment at all.
