The Indianapolis area of the US has been slammed with more than 5 inches of snow since the turn of the New Year. John Martin captured this wonderful, radiant white light beam off the snow late into the evening on Thursday, January 2. The floodlights on a nearby football field were on, so it made it nearly as bright as day, according to John. Credit: John Martin
