Jacinta Van Putten and her family were enjoying a hot afternoon in their backyard when they received a surprise visitor. A possum had somehow made its way into their paddling pool searching for a reprieve from the scorching weather. Jacinta was kind enough to let the little possum cool down before placing it in a near-by tree with fresh water and cool fruit to “get it through the rest of the hot day”. Credit: Jacinta Van Putten
