Justin Bieber's 'Believe' movie opened Christmas Day to poor box office sales after the 'Baby' singer tweeted he was retiring the night before. As John Basedow (@JohnBasedow) repairts, 'Believe' was number 14 in the holiday movie race, making only $1.25-million in ticket sales as compared to $12.4-million made by his previous movie 'Never Say Never.' He says Biebs media-hyped bad behavior, including spitting on fans, peeing in a restaurant bucket and reported drug, could be keeping former Beliebers out of the theaters.
