Nevertheless, things remain normal in the town of Banos.

"The working groups have already mobilized. We have activated five shelters; the road from Puyo to Banos has been closed with the intent to firstly evacuate the personnel, however, not under an obligatory manner."
The town has activated a contingency plan in case the volcano gets worse.
