This secondary school on the outskirts of Moscow is where a gunman took more than 20 pupils hostage.

Police here say the student killed one police officer and a biology teacher. Another policeman was shot and injured.

Officers say the hostage taker has since been "neutralised"

The hostages have been released and were seen running out of this building.

A helicopter landed at the scene and later an ambulance took a man away.

The gunman is believed to be a pupil in one of the upper classes at this school -- known as school number 263.

This latest incident comes as Russia prepares to host the Winter Olympic Games, due to start in Sochi this week.
